International winning lines. We produce babies in every color. We specialize in rare colors.
Our breeding goals are:
1) Low inbreeding amount (COI). Cats that have a high COI are prone to health problems and lack a healthy immune system. We are very strict about this and will not breed a Maine Coon with a COI of 9% or higher.
Extensive health testing; HCM by DNA and Sono, SMA, FIP, FIV, PKD, FHD, FLV, PL, and T. Foetus.
2) Sweet Disposition. We provide great opportunity for socialization, as our kittens are raised underfoot.
3) The Look. A strikingly beautiful but solid, large robust cat is what Katzen strives for.
